City of Industry Pallet Rack Code and Safety
Most cities and fire codes today require permits to ensure that your racking design is safe. While the city checks for a well-planned structure, the fire department will review your sprinkler system. If you plan to store goods above 12 feet, a high piled permit will also be required.
If your warehouse has pallet racks but no permits, be aware that the Fire Marshall does conduct annual inspections. To ensure that your warehouse meets safety codes and is hazard free, please contact one of our Rack Engineers to assist you. We can help you draft the required plans and submit the permit application to the City of Industry.
