Push Back Racks
Push back pallet racking is front loaded by a standard forklift that places each pallet on a platform. Watch push back pallet racks are slightly tilted forward so the power of the earth’s gravity causes the pallet on each platform to slowly roll toward the front of the bay.
Pallets are placed on carts with wheels, which allows them to move to the picking position by gravity. When the front of the pallet is chosen, the following pallet moves forward.
Push back rack systems allow for the same amount of storage as Drive-in Systems without having to operate a forklift into the rack. Forklift drivers never enter the pushback rack system, which helps to maintain the quality of the pushback rack system and minimize damage.
